Duchess of Hamilton 6229 LMS Steam Train Poster, Art Deco Railway Print (1938)

A bold Art Deco railway poster celebrating the iconic LMS Duchess of Hamilton, locomotive number 6229. The streamlined crimson engine surges through an open British landscape beneath dramatic sunburst rays, billowing steam trailing behind as a stone viaduct recedes into the distance. Typography reads Streamlined for Speed — LMS 1938, rendered in classic gold and deep navy lettering.

Printed at 300 DPI on high-quality paper, this poster captures the golden age of British steam travel with rich colour and period-accurate styling. A striking choice for railway enthusiasts, vintage transport collectors, and fans of 1930s graphic design.
